Questions about downloading public media
Is Vinverse Reels free?+
Yes. The downloader is free and does not require an account.
Do I need to sign in to Instagram?+
No. Vinverse only attempts to access media metadata that Instagram makes publicly available.
Can it download private reels?+
No. Private accounts, login-gated media, removed posts, and other access-restricted content are not supported.
Does Vinverse keep my links or downloads?+
Vinverse processes the submitted link for the current request. It does not save download history or permanently host the media.
Where is the file saved?+
Your browser and device decide the save location. On mobile, check Downloads, Files, Photos, or the browser download list.
Why did Instagram reject a public link?+
Instagram may temporarily limit automated access, change its public page format, or require a login for a particular request. Waiting and trying again may help.
Can I download every carousel item?+
Vinverse displays individual items when Instagram exposes them publicly. Some posts may expose only a cover image.
Does it reduce quality?+
Vinverse does not re-encode media. It provides the best resource exposed by the public post when one is available.
Can I repost downloaded content?+
Only when you own the content or have the creator's permission. Public accessibility does not remove copyright or platform rules.
